Related: About this forumEd Rendell Attacks Safety Net While Calling for More Elected Republicans
The corporatist elites have been relentless in their attacks on earned benefits for Americans and are trying to seize upon Disaster Capitalism tactics to try and swindle the 98% out of needed entitlements using the mask of bipartisanship. The loathsome Ed Rendell was back on MSNBC and continued his assault on working-class Americans. He even went as far as to throw support for the election of more Republicans like Steve Latourette, who wanted to cut government spending tremendously.

(2,574 posts)Peterson/Fix the Debt not only wants to raise the medicare age to 67, cheat soc sec recipients out of 10% of their benefits in old age and 65000 dollars on those coming into the system, Rendell's corporate masters also want this territorial corporate tax holiday: so they can bring home their off shore trillions tax free, buy up their shares and increase their own wealth and executive pay too, plus enable their companies to off shore ANOTHER estimated 800000 jobs. ...Fix the Debt ...yeah, right. Screw American taxpayers every which way they can is more like it. Rendell is their MSNBC "trojan horse" and MSNBC needs to stop calling him a Democratic consultant and properly identifying him as an employee for this Wall Street lobby of Republican billionaires who have a 40 year track record of trying to destroy our social safety nets plus refuse to pay proper corporate taxes o9n off shore trillions of profits.
