When Comey is rightfully blamed, is Weiner being overlooked?

in all the blame of Comey, right or wrong, I see almost no blame of Weiner. Does anyone really expect that the closest aid's husband being investigated for sexting a 15 year old girl, in the second scandal of this type, to have no effect?

I assign more responsibility to Comey than I do to Weiner for Hillary's defeat. Her poll numbers were climbing steadily until Comey's letter was published, then they reversed direction.

Think about it - Giuliani and his crew of rogue FBI agents were desperate to find a hook to drag down Hillary Clinton. What better way than to attack through a weak link like Anthony Weiner? I think there is a chance Weiner was set up to get to Clinton.

that's my whole point. a weak link is all it takes to take down a candidacy, when it's close and the candidate has high negatives (deserved or not). I think a huge element of bad luck is being overlooked tin the post analysis
