1. You meant "Stasi," right?

The old East German Ministerium für Staatssicherheit (Ministry for State Security), or Stasi. Their version of the Geheime Staatspolizei (Secret State Police), or Gestapo for short.

And I'd say, from posts I have seen from the people you describe, you are pissing into the wind. These people proudly "voted their consciences," which apparently, are perfectly fine with Sessions as Attorney General and Bannon as National Security Adviser.

I'm sure they'll be perfectly happy to lay it out for you why you have no right to see anything amiss with their votes. They certainly haven't hesitated to lay it out for me: "Establishment, liar, Killary, Speeches, Wall Street, Warmonger," etc etc etc. You know the routine. Be prepared to hear it repeated for a good long while now. They aren't very creative, but they have their lines down cold.

And I may be, as you say, 'pissing into the wind', but without push back, from everyone who can push back, this dystopian future that they envision will envelop us all.

I have no desire to live in a 'Running Man', 'ClockWork Orange', 'Lives of Others', 'Fahrenheit 451', 'Brave New World', '1984', 'V For Vendetta', future. Oh, and let's add in a little 'Snow Crash' and 'Perdido Street Station' for extra flavour.

It looks like he will be White House Chief of Staff

That means he along with Pence will be the evil spirits on both of Trump's shoulders telling Trump what to do, as Trump is clueless.

The Bush Lite admininstrations were just a warm-up.
