(2,573 posts)But there is a Clinton Coalition...
Hispanics, Blacks, Asians, Whites...and Republicans crossing over. I know of several Repub's that are crossing party lines in this election. I see plenty of similar stories on here about this subject. That is the hidden Hillary vote and Trashbag is going to get thrashed on Tuesday. I really believe America is going to come through.
Do you hear of any Democrats crossing party lines to vote for Trump...I mean LOL LOL.
So HOW can he win? He can't and won't. All this early voting...just know that a percentage of those Republicans are not voting Republican!! He's gonna get REAMED.
I hope you feel better now.

(121,904 posts)Granted, I was just a kid then, and didn't know what was really going on (which turned out to be even worse than we knew at the time), but there was this sense of impending doom that was really frightening. Lately I'm a little more encouraged about the probability of Trump losing badly, and I feel a little better, but the idea of him winning is really horrifying in almost the same existential thread sort of way.

Huh? You don't believe my stress level? You don't have to. I thought I could vent here.

If you are able, go down to the nearest Democratic headquarters and see what you can do. You might be able to help people with rides to the polls. They may have you do phone banking to GOTV or some other volunteer activity.
It is too late today to do something, but they will be phone banking for sure throughout all the offices tomorrow, and even on election day
Of course it depends on your schedule. If you work, then go in before and after you work. Become part of the campaign to GOTV and we will win

IMO, Hill won this last night at the Latin grocery store in Nevada. She had 268 locked, the folks that stood in line there put her over the 270!

I've been thinking of all the great headlines and cartoons they're going to have Nov 9th.
Trump claims he's smart. Truly smart people don't have to claim such things. They're smart enough to not waste their time thinking about how smart they are because they were born that way and they realize what they actually do is what will convince people about the merits of their good qualities. Trump isn't smart enough to have figured that out.
But Trump is not entirely stupid either. His thin skin will eventually help him realize that he's going down in US history as one of the great jackasses of all time and a big time loser. And no amount of media coverage nor money can change that now.
I sleep a little better knowing that.
