Here is something about Rachael and Tweety

that bugs me greatly.

At times they act neutral as if the election is a sporting event and they are having fun watching it.

It isn't a game for us. To some it is life or death.

Rachael and Tweety could survive a Trump presidency so they can treat the election as a sporting event.

Your mis characterization of Rachel is just wrong, she's doing a job and it's her personality. How anybody can question her liberal credentials is ridiculous.

I listen to TRMS every night. I rather like her. And no, I don't expect her to be a progressive parrot every second. Nor do I want that. I am satisfied with her geeky demeanor and her high ethical standards as a journalist.

That's why I like her program.

BTW, it's the only MS/NBC program with an audio podcast. That's the only way I could hear it. I wish Lawrence did similar.

I don't think most people think about it anymore... or they're not truly aware of Trump's dangerous temperament somehow.

THEY want a close race and will report whatever they need to to get one. I don't think the knowingly report lies, but I'm positive the hold back on a lot of things that could make things look like the race is over. They do it partly for ratings, but I think the excitement we see is real.

As a society, we have become so used to hyperpartisan reporting, we no longer know what good reporting is.

We had the first TV on the block. People came to our house to watch it.

We had 15 minutes of local news and 15 minutes of national and world news. All mostly without any bias.

Back then news rooms were not revenue generators. They could afford to be objective.
