(18 posts)I feel you and I hope you are right, but this is a complicated spider web of collusion and not just a coincidence. It starts with Breitbat news(Steve Bannon), Rudy Giuliani, retired partisan agents, active partisan agents and ends with James Comey. I am going to say what nobody else will-If Trump wins it will not be a legitimate presidency. It's a fraud,a stunt and I think the FBI involvement was in the works longer than we think. I'm disgusted and angered. Furthermore I think they will try their hardest to bring an indictment. They have swung the election in Trump's favor and.....

(2,573 posts)theories for 4 years. Did you hear Donald Trump CAN'T READ!!!! It's true and there is video to prove it!!! (LOL)
Can you imagine if he won and all these lawsuits...they want to talk shit about Hilly and he's the one in court day and night.
I hope you weren't referring to me, I am on your side. This has kept me up at night trust me. I 'm not a conspiracy theorist by any stretch and can't even stomach to listen to Trump(I either mute or switch channels). However, ever since Giuliani was on Fox Tues. morning and revealed that teaser it didn't pass the smell test. It has finally caught on to some programs ,namely Rachel Maddow. I have been contacting organizations, outlets,etc.. for the past week hoping to urge someone with a platform and contacts to further this. I hate it like you and yes I still voted.

(2,573 posts)one if he won and torture the alt right freaks with made up insane theories. I was so disgusted by this Commie Comey thing I called the DOJ and all my representatives...but we need thousands and thousands etc...of people calling/writing.
Agree, but my reps are republicans plus unlikely rank and files have the influence to move the needle. The media moves Washington-we need some aggressive investigative journalism from outlets like The Atlantic,Daily Beast,etc..From there it grows legs onto msm, from there to put pressure on DOJ and senate oversight

(2,573 posts)up. I have called other representatives in other states (including Repub's) and I just use a local zip code. I do this a lot for animal activism but also will do it for political activism which I want to get more involved in.

(3,921 posts)Many respected news organizations and individuals on the right and left in the past few days have come out and said the same thing - Comey is the modern day J.Edgar Hoover.
I do think they may've jeopardized Dem chances of retaking the senate, but most prediction models still have Hillary as the heavy favorite to win this election. The electoral path for Trump is narrow if non-existent.
All of these bad actors who are attempting to carry out a coup d'etat must be brought to justice after this election.

(6,344 posts)This article let's us know there are a lot of issues going on in the FBI. Comey as front man, is but a symptom.
If he talks will it help for hurt?

Highly unfavorable view of Hillary Clinton intensified after James Comeys decision not to recommend an indictment over her use of a private email server

(11,949 posts)I am concerned that tomorrow we may have our first coup when the FBI releases made up damning evidence against Hillary.
I can't believe I am even typing this but after last week why not.
But I am still an optimist. In the end we will continue to move forward.

(3,921 posts)as it has become obvious to many respected people/outlets on the right and left that the agency is a cesspool of anti-Clinton partisans (going back to the 90's) who will stop at nothing to elect Trump and destroy Hillary.
The FBI's latest stunt backfired on them, the leaks to FOX suggesting Hillary would be indicted over the Clinton Foundation, which turned out to be completely false/made up.
The media is onto this now, unlike last Friday, when the FBI was still viewed as a trusted and neutral agency.
All of these fuckers need to be charged under the Hatch Act.

(60,543 posts)First the June presser chastising Hillary but not recommending an indictment, then this latest vague, thumb on the scale, Weiner computer email insinuation, and the Marc Rich and Clinton Foundation leaks of possible imminent indictments what a a hole.
He won't hold a presser. He had a spinner spokes person on the cable shows last night spinning as to why he was justified in doing what he did.
There is no justification. He's lost control of the FBI as Clinton haters in the agency have gone rogue and are openly being insubordinate. He needs to step down or be fired.

(7,549 posts)wouldn't he be less likely to do it too? It would just make him look even more suspicious right?

(60,543 posts)Wish the president would fire him and clean house.
At any rate, President Hillary Clinton will.
Six months to a year into the new administration he will announce that he's resigning to spin more time with his family, or some other such nonsense excuse to disguise the fact that he's been asked to step down or be pushed.

(10,656 posts)...it should be to announce he has fired the FBI agents responsible for illegal leaking and witch-hunting - and, offered the President his resignation.
