Russia Today sticking to storyline that the Weiner/Abedin-emails are related to Clinton's server

https://www.rt.com/usa/364780-trump-russia-reid-fbi-letter/
https://www.rt.com/usa/364774-clinton-weiner-abedin-emails/

It's Monday. The scandal turned out to be a nothingburger over the weekend: There is no proof so far that the emails are in the least related to Clinton's case, except for republican rumormongering.

And yet Russia Today keeps presenting the rumor as fact, days after it has been proven wrong in a flurry of media-activity. Russia Today also manages to somehow keep up with the story all the while somehow failing to mention that
1. there is no evidence to the rumor
2. there is no re-opened investigation

It's really funny how Russia Today somehow forgets to report on such crucial facts over and over and over again.

Never mind the "republican rumormongering", there's a letter from the FBI saying they think it may be pertinent.

You can say "nothingburger" a hundred times if that's what you think will get us out of the jam we're in.

Leading in polls. Almost all metrics are looking good for us to take the WH and pick up house and senate seats. The most progressive platform in decades.

At this point no one has shown me this is anything but a wash. An issue, yes. A jam? Hardly. I am with you that this isn't simply "nothingburger". God I dislike that term. But to claim we are now in some jam would also seem to be false.

Putin/Trumps mouthpiece adds up to not much of anything.

I guess you missed the hundreds of freak-out threads in the last two days.

But really, thanks for YOUR concern. LOL!

Pro tip: it is a nothing burger and your favorite news source lies about everything.

RT, Putin, or Assange.

3 things that aren't very popular with DUers.

It's a popularity thing. OMG!

Sorry, Doc. I think the record shows me making logical and rational arguments...however UNpopular they might be.

Popular.

I wouldn't call supporting a dictator or a rapist as "logical and rational".

YMMV.

You deny that you support Putin and Assange?

Putin is indeed a dictator, and Assange is most likely a rapist.

Does anyone consider RT as anything remotely credible? Their attempts at a John Stewart type Daily Show is especially pathetic.

If there is anything meaningful in these emails it should be investigated as it normally would and not leaked 8 days before the election. It's clearly a partisan hack and only meaningful as a distraction.
