After the first announcement, he had my respect as someone who followed the evidence and the law despite political pressures. And at the last minute he worse than caves to his worst partisan instincts. Regardless of outcome, he has destroyed his reputation.

and talking crap a professional with integrity would not have been. For starters, the FBI is supposed to investigate, period, not pass and announce judgment on whether there is a case.

it just makes him seem like an independent minded prosecutor who likes to prosecute.
