Per WP: Trump pushing into WI, MI, and NM in a desperate gambit to turn them red.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is how he's spending his last week of campaigning. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/in-final-sprint-trump-targets-democratic-states-while-clinton-tries-to-gin-up-enthusiasm-among-minorities/2016/10/30/5bef5a26-9ed5-11e6-a44d-cc2898cfab06_story.html In final sprint, Trump targets Democratic states while Clinton tries to gin up enthusiasm among minorities Trump campaign chief executive Stephen K. Bannon has settled on three states in particular — Michigan, Wisconsin and New Mexico — where the candidate and campaign will devote more time and money, according to four people familiar with the discussions who requested anonymity to discuss internal campaign talks. All three states were won by Obama in 2008 and 2012.
Bannon believes that if GOP voters rapidly “come home” nationally in light of recent events, that turnout plus late-breaking support among independents and blue-collar workers could bring new states into play beyond Pennsylvania, Nevada and Colorado — Democratic strongholds where Trump has been campaigning for months and remains behind, the people said.

1. Bush
After 2000 and 2004 I no longer use 12 smilies of over-confidence.

5. Was too you to follow 2000 and 2004, but...
I'm not overconfident. I just find it hilarious that NM,MI,WI are the states that he's trying to flip with only a week left in the game. He's behind in the polls and doesn't have the ground operation to bring about such an upset. Doesn't seem like the places a losing campaign would focus with the time that they have left.

3. Two (2) election-end traditions for losing campaigns:
1. Announcing pushes into new "battleground" states
2. Claiming they're expanding the map |

4. Romney did the same in PA the last week
It was the surest sign he was going to lose.
NM? Amateur hour. |
