I am going to miss this man....
There were periods in the late summer and fall when Obama was down in the polls to McCain, and this picture with the caption "Everyone chill the fuck out--I got this" started making the rounds. Word is that Obama himself was aware of the meme and really got a kick out of it 
I empathize with your stomach being in knots. Were Clinton ahead by 50 points in a Fox News poll, I still wouldn't be satisfied. We don't get do-overs with the election, and the never-ending email "scandal" doesn't make me feel great.
But at this point, people have made up their minds or they're probably not voting. Remember that Clinton is the experienced one with the professional GOTV organization. Remember that we have the big guns on our side: Barack, Michelle, Bill, Tim Kaine. They have Curt Schilling. Yes, a lot of stupid people vote. Yes, this country elected George Bush. Yes, this country nominated Donald Trump to begin with. But the underlying structure of the final week is on Clinton's side.
I used to watch all manner of sports (especially Minnesota Vikings games) with my dad growing up. During close games when our teams were barely up but the other team had the ball in the final drive, I'd inevitably fret about blowing the game. My dad would often say, "I think I'd rather be us in this situation."
I'm also a musician, and I know that a little bit of adrenaline and ultimately having a deadline makes you spring into gear and create meaningful work.
