In Nevada more Dems vote early than Reps do. So if the election gets called early for Clinton, some disgruntled Trump voters may stay home and hurt Joe Heck's chances for the Senate. So sad.

2. No election has been called early since 1980

And for just this reason (impact on downballot races). Even if HRC hits 270 before the West Coast polls close, networks won't call the race.
