I don't believe we can turn the state blue just yet, but I take comfort in knowing that we're not making it easy on the bastards!

(7,719 posts)With the ever-increasing number of Hispanics in the state, I believe we can get this thing blue again pretty fast. This year? Maybe not, but the republican lead is shrinking quickly and I wouldn't be too surprised to see Clinton eke out a victory. Wouldn't that be a hoot? I would thoroughly enjoy rubbing that in a few noses.

(138 posts)I think that it pretty much captures the state of things for any of the enlightened souls who have had the misfortune of watching Texas turn into a mouth breathing, knuckle dragging mecca.
