Future recipients are paying into it now. This is something that we all do, so that we CAN retire.

You paid into it, therefore you are entitled to the benefit. It's the Repugs that twisted

I am 59. I've been disabled on and off since 2012 and I'm getting disability now and I feel bad about it. But then I remind myself that I've worked at least part time since I was 16, about 40 years. There was about 7 years that I worked full AND part time. So I try not to beat myself up.

We are entitled" because we paid into the system. Republicans have turned it into a dirty word, like a description of their entitled rich kids.
