I edited the most significant portion of President Obama's speech in Columbus, Ohio in support of Ted Strickland and Hillary Clinton. It creates a stunning indictment of Trump but more importantly the GOP turning a blind eye to metastasizing cancer within their base and ranks.

Hard to argue with his logic, and it's delivered so passionately. I think he's truly saddened by the idea that the office of president could be tainted by a man like Donald Trump. His message about electing Democrats at the local level is also crucial, and we can never forget that. It goes right down to the state legislature level, because Gerrymandering ensconces Republican majorities, and they pass legislation that makes it harder for people to vote. EVERY level of government in EVERY election has consequences.
