Shocking Report Reveals Putin Is Feeding Trump Russian Propaganda To Read At Rallies

It has been confirmed that Donald Trump is directly being fed and is repeating Putin lies and propaganda at his rallies under the disguise of making America great again.

Newsweek’s Kurt Eichenwald uncovered an instance of Trump reading propaganda directly from Putin at a recent campaign rally in Pennsylvania. The Russians took a story that Eichenwald wrote and turned into a “John Podesta email” that hours later Trump read on stage at his rally.

Eichenwald wrote that Putin is directly feeding lies to Trump:

The key issue is how this story trump read did not appear on any US news sites, it was only briefly on a Russian news site. So someone in his campaign or linked to his campaign is reading those sites. WHY???

Apparently Blumenthal forwards a copy of Eichenwald's Newsweek article (from a year ago next week) on the insanity of the Benghazi witch hunt, to Podesta (and others) and this email appears in the dump. Russian operatives took 2 sentences from the attached Eichenwald article, and have a Russian propaganda site write a false news story claiming that those sentences were a condemnation written by Blumenthal himself in the email, and "proves" that Hillary is somehow guilty of what happened in Benghazi, because one of her close advisors said so.

In Eichenwald's original article, you have this -

<...>

'Anybody but Hillary'

One important point has been universally acknowledged by the nine previous reports about Benghazi: The attack was almost certainly preventable. Clinton was in charge of the State Department, and it failed to protect U.S. personnel at an American consulate in Libya. If the GOP wants to raise that as a talking point against her, it is legitimate.

The earlier reports—two from the Senate, one from an independent board and six from the Republican-controlled House—were released before the 2014 election; after that, the House voted to form a special Benghazi committee, with the expectation that it would drag out its work until shortly before the 2016 election—four years after the armed assault took place. Despite all the work that has already been done investigating the attacks, the Benghazi committee has demonstrated that its members either have not read the reports or do not care about the conclusions they reached. Its members ask questions of witnesses that have already been answered—again and again. In fact, some of the questions that Republicans say have yet to be addressed have answers that are so well known they already appear on the Wikipedia page about the Benghazi attacks, sourced to the previous government reports.

So they took the italicized section, chopped the first part off, and then claimed this was written by Blumenthal in the email.

And now you have Trump blurting out "Blumenthal" every chance he can and he was apparently waving around the now "disappeared" Sputnik propaganda article just yesterday at a rally here in PA.

This is why many of us object to RT as well. This is not coming from the Russia of Gorbachev anymore, where you might get some alternate news to counter the propaganda coming out of the U.S. This is the Russia that Yeltsin ushered in with Putin, as a capitalist competitor to the U.S. and something more sinister.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The article that Drumpf was waving around was still available on google cache this morning. I posted about it here- http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1014&pid=1594149

Here is an excerpt -

<...>

Blumenthal went on to assail Republicans for failing to adequately research the Benghazi reports in making their case against Clinton on what he saw as a major vulnerability for her candidacy and claims to effective leadership. "Despite all the work that has already been done investigating the attacks, the Benghazi committee has demonstrated that its members either have not read the reports or do not care about the conclusions they reached."

The adviser went further in mocking the House Republican investigation saying, "Its members ask questions of witnesses that have already been answered-again and again. In fact, some of the questions that Republicans say have yet to be addressed have answers that are so well known they already appear on the Wikipedia page about the Benghazi attacks, sourced to the previous government reports."

Ultimately, it was the Clinton confidante's position that Hillary largely dodged a bullet due to the feckless and ineffective research by the House Special Committee on Benghazi to force the truth to light and to be diligent enough to examine the record that was provided by congressional researchers for their use.

Hillary Clinton was interviewed by the Benghazi Committee for 11 hours and often references her ability to stand up to questioning as a sign of her toughness.

This is why Eichenwald proclaims "I am not Sidney Blumenthal / I am Sydney Blumenthal". It's a play on Leonard Nimoy's 2 books - "I am not Spock" and later one "I am Spock".

9. The question is:

What does Putin get in return?
Security briefings?
Sabotage of Nato and other alliances?

What does Trump get?
Help with the election?
Forgiveness of a billion $$ worth of debt to Russia

Seems like a win-win for both of them

Apparently Neo-Nazis are fond of using Putin's propaganda outlets as their "news sources".

It makes sense so much of the far-right hate centers on how bad off Americans are and what miserable conditions we have here.

So THIS was what Trump was referring to in the debate when he brought up Blumenthal. It puzzled me at the time because it was so off-topic, even for Trump.
