Clinton Braces for All-Out Assault

Politico: “The bombshell Donald Trump video that surfaced Friday has so dramatically altered expectations for Sunday’s town hall debate that one Democrat close to Bill and Hillary Clinton had a new view of what may unfold in St. Louis: ‘Expect Armageddon.'”

Hillary Clinton will arrive at the Washington University debate stage Sunday prepped for battle against an opponent many of her allies believe has already lost the election. Trump, in contrast, will walk onto the debate stage with nothing to lose.”

Bring it on Trump--she'll be ready for whatever bile you want to spew.

the GOP is supposed to be the party of Christianity and family values. Well isn't family values trying to work on your marriage and stay in it in any way? Also doesn't Christianity teach one to forgive?

She has got this and will win hands down.

She is better and brighter that Donnie will ever be. Here is what I see, Hill has a brain and uses it. Trump leads with his balls, that hasn't done that much good for him now has it. Sadly he trips over his balls and ego constantly. Ouch, how battered and bruised his balls must be from tripping over them daily.

Watch for the moderator to just capitulate with in the first fifteen minutes. Expecting Con Job to go Postal from the get go. And the target will be his typical deflective use of blaming Bill Clinton and Obama for all of Hillary's so called faults. Call it the Bully approach to debate. Blame the Guy over there.

Clinton is going to use the venue to appeal to people's sensibilities, taking every opportunity to segue into how Trump can't be relied upon to defend the vulnerable, how he's effectively a predator, etc.

She'll invite him and give him an opening to bring up Bill Clinton. With the response locked and loaded.

But Hillary can handle it. In fact, an out-of-control Trump will do all her work for her.

Short of physically attacking her, she will be fine.

would be demonstrating that Hillary Clinton either facilitated her husband's behavior or intimidated and/or slandered the women who made accusations against him. The most serious is obviously Hillary Clinton's interaction with Juanita Broderick who I would not put past Trump inviting to the debate. Also included in that group is allegations made by Kathleen Willey which seem really crazy and not straight forward to explain (murder of her husband, intimidation by parties unknown). Next would be things she said about Monica Lewinsky, Paula Jones, and Gennifer Flowers.

I think the Monica one is not a real problem. To criticize the woman in private to a friend of yours who was having an affair with your husband is not an issue, and a normal human reaction.

Gennifer Flowers is more problematic. Her failed cabaret singer and I would crucify her on cross examination are the strongest statements I have found in the public record.

Did Hillary Clinton say anything about Paula Jones in public?

There does seem to be a lot more things said in private that have been reported, but the same applies to Trump.

The obvious question is whether you should vote for an admitted sexual batterer and accused rapist or someone who is married to an accused sexual batterer and accused rapist. It seems that the obvious answer, all else being equal, is the latter.

It has no relevancy to the debate and if she falls for any tricks, it'll put her on the defensive (as what tends to happen when people take the bait instead of standing firm and refusing to be provoked)

In any case, she'll do a fantastic job-- she's ready
