Excellent post on RedState..

as I went trolling to find what they say. Written by a woman.

http://www.redstate.com/saragonzales/2016/10/08/bill-clinton-irrelevant-picked-trump/

Bill Clinton should not even come up when discussing Donald Trump’s behavior. He’s irrelevant to this conversation. If something is wrong, it is wrong. Period. At least have the courage and moral decency to call it what it is without the excuse that someone else’s spouse is worse.

This is your guy. The guy you picked, despite our warnings. The guy who has a long and well-documented history of degrading others. The guy whose lack of morals was very well known at the beginning of the election cycle. You picked him anyway, and you never hesitated to throw that in the rest of our faces. So don’t you dare have the audacity to bring up Bill Clinton as if he has anything to do with Donald Trump being exactly the person we all said he was.

bringing it up only reinforces the idea that maybe it's time to get a woman in office and only weakens him more

Where is their outrage at the GOP demanding the women be forced to give birth to their rapist's baby? How is that less offensive than grabbing a woman by the pussy?

Bringing his name into it is a shoddy way to divert attention from the real issue.

I wish talk show hosts wouldn't fall into the trap of attempted diversionary tactics

The arguments against Trump in the primary were precisely these: he lacks the temperament and knowledge, he is a loose cannon with a past ripe for oppo research, he's an abuser who cuts against the GOP "morality" branding.

Each of these has come back to haunt them. The GOP base picked Trump out of some sense of twisted outsiderism. Well, he's an amateur and a clown. As Brian Williams said last night, picking an outsider for a Presidential candidate is like picking an outsider to be your airplane pilot: Oh, he's not part of (sneer) mainstream aviation (sneer).

To the GOP I say this: enjoy your fucking flight, motherfuckers.

This just proves what was clear all along--they do not have principles. They simply hate anyone more evolved than they are. Anyone who fails to adhere to the old misogynist, racist, bigoted, closed-minded ways of thinking, or, actually, who dares to think at all.

Could not be more evident than the war on black voters and election problems in minority communities. When liberals become Others, we are on the verge of Hitler's idealogy.

network of propaganda outlets to portray everyone but their own as "other." And liberals, of course, are portrayed as worse than any other "other". In my opinion, both Clinton and Obama are closer to the center than to the right, yet they both have been demonized as left wingers. The RW has distorted everything beyond recognition by any sane, reasoning person.
