I honestly didn't think it could get worse.
But it did.
Holy shit.
But do YOU actually think it will change anything?
How much faith do you have in the American people to turn their backs on this?

(58,724 posts)Family Research Council president Tony Perkins, another Trump supporter, told BuzzFeed he isnt concerned with sharing values with the GOP nominee.
My personal support for Donald Trump has never been based upon shared values, it is based upon shared concerns about issues such as: justices on the Supreme Court that ignore the constitution, Americas continued vulnerability to Islamic terrorists and the systematic attack on religious liberty that weve seen in the last 7 1/2 years, he said in an email.

(4,112 posts)Blowing up tonight with this. Everyone (females especially) from my 85-year old aunt to my 23-year-old niece is FURIOUS, and some who had either remained circumspect about their choice or kept quiet about politics in general, are speaking out angrily and committing to ensuring that Trump is trounced by Hillary.

(22,669 posts)Sure to sink the GOP hopes coming up, without a doubt!
I hate saying it but to many of the fundamentalists do not believe in respect for women and the women who vote for him have long been beaten down into believing the mans word is the only word and all that counts is that they vote like their man tells them to. There are other things that will be changing peoples minds from Trump but women's rights are not one of them.

Leave it to Trump to bring smutty bullshit into politics. God damnit.
He's actually turned it all into a reality TV show.

(3,635 posts)it will cut off his ability to grow his support, and may even suppress turnout amongst the nevertrumpers (who may've turned out at the last second to vote against hillary) and social conservatives.
This is likely the beginning of an avalanche about to rain down on Trump.
We haven't even gotten into the Trump Model Agency sweatshop/visa fraud thing, which I think is even worse than this, because it cuts down his populist/tough on immigration image.

yeah, I know ... But it is getting close and if they are more repulsed by him than Hill, which you have to believe most of the hold outs are, maybe it nudges them where they need to go ... Maybe.

(8,419 posts)Intended to embarrass republican voters and create a wedge between Trump deplorables and the other republicans. Down ticket candidates will have to try to keep both sides happy, which is an impossible task.
So let's say Trump quits, you think camp Clinton won't have the Kaine/Pence debate clips ready with Pence refusing to condemn Trump? They are being put into a lose/lose situation.

(3,702 posts)Trump has a hard core group of supporters that have repeatedly shown that they will dig in their heels and support him no matter what.
There is no political leverage to gain for the politicians who have supported or endorsed Trump to dump him now. Voters with integrity will see dumping Trump now as too little too late or as cowardly turning their backs on their nominee.
Any one in the GOP who acts "surprised" by these statements will come across as disingenuous, naive or stupid.
