Rec this if you're still screaming internally

Are you still screaming internally at how impossibly stupid our nation must be to be buying Trump's bullshit?

I'm sorry, but I thought we all grew up in a culture that understood that businessmen with suits and money are typically not to be trusted. We live in a culture where many people, NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE, sees Wall st as this catacomb of greed and backdoor deals meant to put the little man down.

Even if you live out in the middle of nowhere, where your only neighbor is three cows, you were taught to be suspicious of that slick guy with the fancy car saying he can help you.

SO WHAT THE FUCK.

I have an oldies station I listen to. (I'm 28 years old and it's my favorite music to listen to, they call em golden for a reason!) And every fucking time I turn it on, I hear this same Trump commercial.

It starts out so sad, America sucks. We all suck. Hillary sucks. And then it cuts to how there's a man who can change that because he's not beholden to big money (in what way? HE IS BIG MONEY YOU STUPID FUCKS Ahem sorry) a nation that will be so powerful that terrorism will be in retreat? Are you serious? That's not how terrorists work!

And then, OH I love this part... A nation where veterans are respected and treated with dignity.... Except those with PTSD, weak! Captured? Not a hero!

I just. Yeah, I've been screaming internally for a while now. The only fucking reason anyone could support Trump while KNOWING all that he's done and said is because they just want him to get rid of all the PoC. It's not about the issues. It just HAS to be racism. It HAS to be misogyny. I cannot draw another conclusion.

and if the whole party hadn't sold its soul for power.

Well, and if the Dem was as crazy dysfunctional as Trump.

Most of my friends call me too partisan, but in fact, I haven't seen a Repub worth voting for in decades.

no Republican running in NYC would dare not be moderate on social issues...they would never have a chance..
For example Guiliani...I don't even recognize that raving stooped over lunatic anymore.

He is simply a monster.

There are always some of the people.....

Sadly, they are fodder for fuckwits to frighten.

, America? I used to think American history was a progression toward improving and living up to the ideals that this country professes to have. Now, I can merely appreciate tiny eras (Roosevelt/Truman/Kennedy/Carter/Clinton/Obama) where some people tried to improve things.

Obama's terms, and Clinton's asymptotic approach to executive power have America poised to humiliate Trump. It looks like a bad spanking for him.
