I hate her line of defense, "Well, he's always been a perfect gentleman to me and my family." Well, it ain't all about how he treats and speaks to you. You know the bullshit he's spouted and still spouting and the fact that he's nice to you doesn't mean he's not an asshole and saying totally inappropriate things to others.

She managed the message and avoided the elephant in the room. When asked about Trump's view on women, she deftly moved to her talking point as well as any seasoned pol.

I disagree with her politics with a passion but she impressed me. I would vote for a Costco pizza slice before trump or her husband but she was pretty good. I could see her living in the world with a Jill Biden...except that her husband's politics lead me to hope and pray that she'll be back at home in Indy come November wondering how they're going to spend Mike's post political career.

I thought that she sounded really good, unfortunately. I worry that Pence can make Trump sound reasonable

Undoubtedly Rump's tweets tonight will negate whatever, if any, points are won by Pence tonight.

I might hate the politics but I'm not about to attack someone who doesn't deserve it.
