Ok, so Hillary wrote off $13,000 for her taxes. BUT she and Bill did pay taxes.

This man is a scumbag.

The people saying they hate taxes and the IRS are the first ones to complain about government spending and the first one to call on the government for disaster relief, subsidies, increases in Social Security, Medicare and all other government services.

including last year, and have often left many deductions unclaimed just to make them as unattackable on that basis as possible.

Thirty years of returned are public property, and it's basically worked.

as Trump did. That's who was saying it late last night. My point is she used the same write-off and still ended up paying about %30 of income in taxes.

Forty years of tax returns are out there for the Clintons. They pay their fair share, period!

Bill & Hillary, or the Donald, I cheerfully take advantage of the various deductions I can. But I still pay taxes. I guess that makes me stupid.

That's very low, given her income. Sounds like she over-pays on her taxes - or were you trying to make a different point?

Everyone should read what Hillary and Bill actually paid in federal income taxes:

https://www.hillaryclinton.com/page/tax-returns/

It is all very interesting reading. For 2015, their adjusted gross income was $10,594,529 (1040, Line 37), and their total taxes were $3,624,455.

The Clintons paid $3,624,455 in federal taxes.

And Trump paid? Well, we don't know, do we?

We can assume that Trump paid zero taxes for at least eighteen years.

Hillary and Bill have disclosed their taxes for every year from 2007 to 2015.

So most of their income goes to benefit others. Trump? Not so much.

Bill and Hillary have paid a lot of taxes, and Trump has paid -- until he proves otherwise by disclosing his tax returns -- nothing.

They have done their duty as good citizens. Moreover, they have established a charitable foundation -- the Clinton Foundation -- where 89% or more goes directly to charities. The Clintons have done so much good in so many ways for the United States and the world as a whole. Unlike Trump, they really care about people.

On the other hand, we have Trump's "charitable foundation," which is really a money-laundering, tax-evading, and self-dealing scheme. Can you imagine what that fool and his minions would do to the US Treasury and budget?
