Latest FB post by Robert Reich

You may or may not agree with his analysis:

Clinton and Trump are in a virtual dead heat (see today's Washington Post-ABC News poll, below).
Their supporters are divided by:
1. Gender (54 percent of men back Trump and 55 percent of women support Clinton);
2. Race (53 percent of white voters back Trump, 69 percent of non-white voters back Clinton);
3. Education (Trump leads Clinton by more than 4 to 1 among white men without college degrees, and by a smaller ratio among white women; Clinton leads Trump by 57 percent to 32 percent among college-educated white women).
Both candidates are hugely disliked. But gender, race, and class trump everything else.
Will tomorrow’s debate sway many people? What do you think?

Aside from whether or not tomorrow's debate will/won't sway many people, the question I have is -- what is it that would get the white, uneducated men to change their mind? Is there anything that would make them go -- "whoa, what have I been thinking? This guy's a ________ (fill in the blank)"

1. I don't think that anything matter to them except to defeat Hillary.

Mostly they are sexist and racist and envious of people who do not look like them who are better off then they are.

They do not really understand what voting against their own interests means and will blame all things bad that happens to them on the Democrats and especially President Obama.

I even know quite a few who are educated some of whom attended school with me. I was astonished at some of there posts on FB. They don't even try to hide their bigotry...they wear it like a badge of honor.

Our real hope for a Hillary win lies in three factors...TURNOUT, WHO TURNS OUT, AND WHERE THEY TURN OUT.

Life is not fair. If Trump wins this election life is worse than unfair...

2. persuadeables are the rarest of voters

I think the stakes are so high both sides will claim victory no matter what happens.
and neither one will make any great jump in the polls as a result of the debate

3. Even if Trump told them to vote for Hillary they wouldn't do it.

There isn't anything that can be said to them that will change their beliefs.

4. Ties to Russia

If they find out he's been dealing with commies he's toast

Of course that would require Fox running a story on it, so......
