Shooting of Keith Scott - Did the Officer Reach into pocket and plant a gun?

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by In_The_Wind (a host of the 2016 Postmortem forum).

If you look at 1:41 minute mark, you see the cop on the right (red shirt) reach into his pocket, then next time you see the gun on the ground by Mr. Scott's legs.

I'm usually not a conspiracy theorist, and I wonder why a police officer would be that stupid, but is there another explanation for the sudden appearance of the gun on the ground?

With the edges blurred out, we can't see him actually drop the gun in place, but first it's clearly not there, and then seconds later, there it is. Next to the unconscious man.

The woman is yelling, "Keith, don't you do it!" She shouts it several times. Don't you do what? I find that a little bothersome. First she tells him to get out of the car and then she says "don't you do it!" several times so it seems she is not telling him not to get out of the car but not to do something else. What?

We need the other video.

Not disputing the video but if the gun is planted that might imply at least some do. That would be extremely disturbing.

Either it was planted there or the scene was disturbed prior to photographs being taken.

They need to release ALL video they have immediately.

Now, the photo seems to show a gun that was not there in the video. That's separate from the gloves. This is such a mess.

Just the existence of guns in modern society kills African-Americans

None of us are happy about trigger happy cops, but gun culture is killing black people.

From the threat of open carry, which is all about keeping 'them' in their place. To the used gun market, which is about arming... just enough of 'them.'

Gun culture has a narrative. And it is not about self-defense, or hunting, or sport shooting.

Just the possibility of a gun will kill a black person. Guns are the new sheets.
