Trump: Id Use Stop-and-Frisk to End Violence in Black CommunitiesAny politician who would go to a black community and say stop-and-frisk is the solution to your problems is showing no respect for the intellectual capacity of that community, Jeff Robinson, deputy legal director at the American Civil Liberties Union and a policing expert for the organization, told The Daily Beast.
[Mr. Trumps] message here is that in order to save the black community, we must destroy it," he continued. "I dont know if Mr. Trump has ever been stopped and frisked by the police, but this concept that, Oh, its just a nice, little friendly conversation...and its nothing to get upset about, thats a concept that people who have never been through a stop-and-frisk experience with a police officer would think. Any politician who would suggest this as a solution has a serious credibility problem.

(28,270 posts)Sure looks unconstitutional as hell to boot but Fuehrer Trump hates the actual constitution and "the blacks" so there you go.

(11,617 posts)Racial profiling and more police confronting innocent black people will lead to more deaths, not more safety.

(28,270 posts)You know that, I know that...and so does that scumball Trump.
That is the effect he and his KKK backers are after.

(58,785 posts)Appalling. He is beyond contempt, both for being so really dreadful and because his personality disorder mean he cannot meet normal standards, he has no morals to speak of, cannot care about right and wrong. What's the excuse for those who would vote for him?

(28,270 posts)While pretending to be concerned about crime.
Republicans have played this "law and order" game for decades.

(58,785 posts)Like gravity, those deplorables are always with us, hostility toward "outsiders" part of their basic nature, new crops coming along every generation, and always have to be controlled.
It's all the others who do not agree with them, are even disgusted by Trump himself, but who are going to vote for Trump anyway because they oppose the Democrats.
Who's the more deplorable?
workinclasszero
(28,270 posts)As there was no excuse for voting for Hitler.
A person that goes into the voting booth and votes for evil, is evil.
Fuck your party, fuck your circle of friends, co-workers and yes even your own family members!
F them all if they vote republican for president in the upcoming election!

(58,785 posts)"protect" the nation from what a liberal Supreme Court would do to it. They believe Trump is by far the lesser threat to their nation.
I disagree that they're entitled to such partisan stupidity.

(28,270 posts)would call out the legion of lies spewed by Trump and his surrogates 24/7.
You will be hard pressed to find the truth about Trump and his racist/fascist movement on any nightly newscast or even the supposedly liberal NYT.

(58,785 posts)the point of being inimical to democracy. Sensationalized, spun, even outright lying headlines designed entirely to maximize clicks. Bias against the less-pro-business party. This can't continue.

(148,197 posts)If he were, he'd never have suggested "stop and frisk." He's talking to his white, older potential voters, who are blindly scared to death of anyone who doesn't look like they do.
Stop and frisk is pure racial profiling, and always has been. And that's just fine with some people, apparently.
His use of the term is proof that he cares not one whit about the black vote.
