Ol Miss---"time out"

maybe it's time for black players--and their courageous white teammates -not just on Ol Miss ---but every team they play-----to do an illegal "time out" ---like an offsides ----out of bounds ---or just don''t come on the field promptly---nothing could start some redneck critical thinking like an interruption of their precious football game----maybe it would carry to the NFL-----so they get the message that racist behavior is bit passé

the nasty demonstration that took place. But, I don't think that the relatively small group of demonstrators was a fair representation of the entire student body and I believe that your suggestions were too harsh and could possible create more problems than they solved.

Other students staged a counter demonstration the next day. That was proof that not all Ole Miss students agreed with the first demonstration.

for responding----I agree with you that Ol Miss is not a racist school----my message was kind of like a union job action--------if all sports players could just stop the game for a moment and call for respect it could put a focus on critical thinking------so maybe some of the knee jerk racist thought would subside----the NFL has done a good job keeping the Super Bowl out of Arizona because of the racism there----but we can see that changing----a lot of change can be had at the behest of -sports----music ----art------racist thought is so old millennium---this country needs to move on to more important things ---like education ---and being a competitor in the world market----thank you for taking the time to respond and to read my rambling
