Obama won with 51% of the vote (31k - 29k). This is from fox news so I dont know how the repubs can dispute it. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/elections/2012-ohio-state-race

In NYT or WaPo or something in September/October on how Wood County has predicted every Presidential election since the dawn of man and how crucial it was. I am betting that article is what place the idea in the baggers heads to focus on wood county. There are 88 counties in Ohio and Wood ranks as the 33nd most populated so focus on it?

One explanation is that there is a big University there BGSU. Maybe the students registered in wood county as the election was in the middle of the semester. Whatever, Obama won
