Hands down the smartest and toughest media person, it was not remotely close.

Maher has his toughness and is smart, but gets tripped up on his ego. As brilliant as js was, he was also very self aware and humble.

all throughout the networks and cable channels, and the next day on the Internet. What exactly does a guy have to do to get some credit here?

turned into the craziest, nastiest POS political season in our lifetime. I work with a woman who wears a Trump T shirt at least twice a week and I can guarantee you she never would have listened to Jon Stewart. Remember when he was on Crossfire and gave the biggest smackdown to Scarborough and Begala? At least Begala shut up and took his medicine, but ol Joe just dug in his heels and didn't learn a thing.

I love JS. I watched and recorded him every day. I give him great credit for calling out Hannity, the BS mountain (fox), CNN, MSNBC etc and make them look ridiculous every time. I just miss him so much, and wish he was on now to take on the extremely biased media now. No one else is as influential or sharp to do that. Maher is okay, but not to the level of JS.

What's getting odd or weird? I clearly mentioned I love JS. I'm new here, but this place seems to carry a lot of baggage.

Or any member of the media

Anything that is happening right now in politics is because of the candidates. It's his or hers fault, at all levels. They only have themselves to blame, be it Rs, Ds, Is, or whatever.
