OK, it's time to give the Green Party threads a break.

From what I've gathered, there is no contingent of Green Party Members here at DU who are actively voting against Hillary Clinton.

There does however seem to be a lot of DUers who are speaking on behalf of DU Green Party members, and attempting to portray them as being against Hillary Clinton. These folks seem to be just attempting to stir up trouble here.

I am aware that Jill Stein and some Green Party members are actively going after the Democratic Party, but they are not representative of the DU Green Party members.

Peace.

Just because there aren't any Republicans here, doesn't mean we can't bash the Republican Party.

Same goes for the Green Party.

"From what I've gathered, there is no contingent of Green Party Members here at DU who are actively voting against Hillary Clinton. "

Greens and Indies who are our allies have ALWAYS BEEN WELCOME at DU.

That means in practical terms: Greens and INdies who share our values and want to help us elect Democrats have always been welcome at DU.

Ya'll need to get this thru your thick heads. So one more time:

Anybody who advocates voting third party goes bye-bye.

Third party members who share our goals and help us elect Dems are our friends.

Misunderstood the intent of the post.

My assertion is that criticism of the Green Party should be OK here, just like criticism of the Republican Party.

during the election season.

But obviously we should not paint the members of the party with a broad brush.

Not all are in line with voting for Jill Stein. In fact, not one Green Party DU member has come forth with criticism the Democratic Party or Hillary Clinton. The criticism is once again coming from the independent, non affiliated, and the usual Democratic Party bashers.

members at DU, but I've encountered a bunch of "pot stirrers" though. I'm not sure who they fighting against, but some of the attacks have been reckless and indiscriminate.

I find it really strange that this issue often takes up more attention than Hillary or Trump, especially with the election only three months away.

Thanks for the thread!

The Green Party is polling at 2% in the polls. They are not even remotely a threat. We need to be focused on the real threat...

and the very few we have are supporting Hillary Clinton.

I was curious, so I did a poll.

The trouble it seems is coming from the usual independents who seem to want to speak for the Green Party DU members.

The Greens are consistently working against the Democrats. Stein has been attacking Hillary, not Trump. If thee are Greens here who reject that approach, then why are they Greens? It's not like it's just recently that the Greens have focused their efforts on actions which actively hurt Democrats and make it more likely Republicans get elected.

It's off topic nonsense that's just a blurred way for some people to fight the last primary (despite the fact that it's not really a reasonable proxy for that battle) and I'm tired of it.

but lately it is "2%er Stein" who is getting a disproportionate amount of attention and DUers who point that out are getting bombarded with criticism and insinuations.

I don't care about Jill Stein or the Green Party, but I do care when Democrats act like their adversaries.
