Republicans embarass themselves when they talk about 'Demographics'.

The memo is out and Republican heads are mouthing the same worthless blather.

"We have to tweak the demographics, but we have a deep bench, Christy, Jeb and whole bunch of people you never have heard of"

"We will be back in 2016 with a viable demographic model".

There is just one problem with the premise of your 'tweaking' of demographics.

Beyond the obvious fact that all of the demographics are going our way and that in another cycle they will be another 3-4% behind where they are today is another glaring obvious problem that they are not addressing,

The Republicans have an elephant in their living room and they have become so used to it they think its part of the furniture.

I have a big breaking news flash for the Republican Party.

In 2016 the Democratic Party is not going to be nominating an African American candidate whose Muslim father was born in Africa whose middle name is Hussein. There is an extra 5-7% of the population that don't really like Republicans but made a two tie exception because they got fuck brained about all of that shit.

So in addition to the 4% that you are behind now and an additional 3% that natural aging will bring you can add another 5% you gained by the most ridiculous racist nonsense.

because their vision of this country itself is so deluded and misguided. We're a Christian nation. Oh, but I guess nowadays we like to talk about Judeo-Christian values, because that allows us to pander to a small percent of Jews that are right wing.

We'll talk about demographics. Oh yeah, those women and their birth control and abortions. What a bunch of sluts.

The Blacks, eh maybe we'll get 10% if we're lucky.

Immigrants can self deport themselves.

Asians? Too small to count.

Gays are an abomination and threaten our values.

Young people don't vote.

All those groups are takers anyways. We're the party of makers dammit!

The shifting makeup of America has moved beyond the policies of the republics. I think they will fan the flames of hate and fear for another two years in hopes of a comeback in 2014. But the times they are a-changing. That will be their last gasp at relevancy, and will go the way of the wigs after failing in the next election cycle.

And good riddance:

Tonight on Faux, (sorry no video) for the two seconds I switched the TV over to watch them crying in their beer or soul searching, Sean Hannity and Liz Cheney were angrily tripling down. They agreed that the right path for the GOP, was not what some people were suggesting, taking their party more to the left, more to the middle. "No," they insisted, "we have to keep driving this message, getting our message out."

They just don't learn.

Prepare for another Democratic drubbing of these dunces in 2014. We couldn't ask for an adversary as predictable and hell bent on repeating the error of their ways.
