2016 Postmortem

What an awesome evening!

Look, I'm pretty left, and I don't agree with some of what Hillary says, but politics is politics, and there's no choice but to build a coalition to get Hillary into the White House and the Democrats to control Congress. Listening to General Allen, he was the exact kind of guy that should make a Republican orgasm. He was incredible. He was tough as nails. With his deep, booming, make no compromise voice, he spoke for America's military in a way that conjures up people like General Patton. It was amazing, and coming on the heels of the oh so beautiful, so moving speech by the Muslim father of a soldier-hero who died in Iraq, it was terrific.

From a political point of view, this is just amazing stuff. We are taking it to the Republican Party. Will it work? I sure hope so. But, it's great, great, great political theater. Right now, I love the Democratic Party! It's so cool.

I work nights, so had to watch clips and such, but it was great, from what I watched.
