A New Low for Jill Stein - Boston Globe

http://www.bostonglobe.com/metro/2016/07/27/new-low-for-jill-stein/R2JBeiiBuyrWHyjUNuG5CL/story.html

Finally, Jill Stein’s moment has arrived. And boy, is it an ugly one.

“The scary things that Donald Trump says, Hillary Clinton has already done,” she told NPR a few days ago, “whether it’s massively deporting immigrants, whether it’s threatening nuclear warfare . . . ”

Whoa. Criticize the Obama administration’s record on deportations, or Clinton herself as too hawkish, sure. But making the Democrat’s shortcomings in those areas equivalent to those of a guy who wants to build a wall, expel millions, intimidate the press, revive torture, and have the military commit war crimes, is so ridiculous I feel stupid just typing it.

But Stein can’t honestly argue Trump and Clinton are equally harmful to the causes she holds dear. Doing so advances her own political fortunes at the country’s expense.

Gee, that seems familiar. Maybe if Stein is looking for someone to compare to Trump, the mirror would be a pretty good place to start.

The article also points out that Stein's appearance inside the convention to "stir things up" was "encouraged by a Fox Business personality who seemed to be running the disruption."

in a fine house; she's All About Herself. Narcissistic, whining, complaining SCOLD. Always ready to gripe, never prepared with any practical solutions. She's a divider, not a uniter!

We in MA have tolerated her crackpot ass for years, because that's how we roll. Now, she's getting to be more than an annoyance, and she's moving into "deliberate disruptor" territory.

I'm glad the Globe finally got her number.

It's not the Democratic Party. And I don't like the personal attacks against any women for being women. It's opposite of what we believe in.

Of course, she's going to use as much traction as she can to get people to come into her party. Media of any kind paying any attention, is one more person seeing that there is a Green Party.

My personal take, Americans won't, in large part, support a party that names itself "Green Party", no matter what their platform speaks to.

And as far as political qualifications for President, she doesn't have enough. I understand why they run a candidate, many states require that a presidential candidate run if they want to put down ticket names on the ticket. And in places like Washington or Oregon or California, perhaps they can make some inroads on city councils or as Mayors, but they aren't about to take over the two major parties we still have.

She is a disruptive hate-filled and angry individual on a rampage because she can't get the attention she seeks. She has done more to destroy her Green Party Franchise with her stinking attitude and iron grip than benign neglect would have done.

Sanders is smart to IGNORE her--she is a 21st Century Ralph Nader.

There are boards that support that gasbag crank, but make no mistake, this ain't one of 'em. Check the TOS if you don't believe me.

“Putting another Clinton in the White House will fan the flames of this right-wing extremism,” she said. “We have known that for a long time, ever since Nazi Germany.”

Apparently, the CLINTONS are responsible for NAZI Germany. What an incredible fucking idiot and LOONY-TUNE crack-pot this woman is.

There simply has to be something wrong with her head. It's the only plausible explanation.

Greens seem to not only dismiss any real-life differences between Democrats and Republicans that anybody with a half a working brain can see and hear with their own eyes but seem to revel in the idea that electing a Democrat would somehow be WORSE than electing the Republican (or at least they are indifferent to the prospect of a Republican being elected or think that it will accelerate the rise of the far left to power....somehow). The Green Party must be at the point where they have gone left so far around the bend that they wind up on the far end of the right.

that really gets me steamed (and that I wish more people would grill JS and others on) is why they've been focused more on disrupting our convention and not the GOP's. Why are they not going after the major party candidate who is further away from the agenda that they supposedly believe in? I used to think that people were exaggerating when they said that people like her and Ralph Nader are phonies and are Republican enablers, but I realized they were right.

very fact that she was willing to step down in offering her position to Bernie Sanders,
(evidently because she thought that he had a far better chance of winning in the race
for the presidency than she did) shows that most likely she was doing what she did
out of the belief in in the justness of her cause, and not because she had such a
big ego. Don't you think?

I must say that I don't know much about Jill Stein, but this act alone of hers is, to me,
a very selfless act. And I am commenting on this one single act of hers. I don't know

The angry hate for Jill Stein surprise me.

If she is anti vaccination she is dead wrong and should rethink that big time. And Trump will be more harmful if she hinted otherwise she should rethink.

But I have not heard anything else from her that I really disagree with. Restore the tax levels of wealthy people and corporations to where they were pre Reagan. Slash the defense budget. Stop for profit health care so folks don't get the bonus of bankruptcy to go with fighting cancer.

She is not going to get enough votes to change much, Gary Johnson will get far more which should be alarming.... Gary being a man who even questioned the need for people to have a drivers license.
