I don't really assign numbers to them, but I have my five favorites. I hope to add a second Clinton, but I really don't want to kick out a Roosevelt.

Maybe I'll just have a top six after Hillary.

Edit to add: Obama made the list in his first term.

Obama for sure.

And the greatest presidents?
Lincoln
FDR
...and I'm thinking history will describe Obama as a great president. He's great in my heart even though I virulently disagree with him on TPP and didn't like his drone policies. But he is and will go down as a GREAT president.

When Hillary came out tonight (awesome moment, btw), I even found myself wishing that she had won in 2008 and was passing the baton to him, so he would have the chance to be our president for the next 8 years. How did these past 8 years go by so fast?

In 2012 I had doubts but still believed.

What a great man and wonderful president. My kids notion of the world would for always be change thanks to him.

Thank you,

We're basically the same age, grew up in the same era, even have some mutual friends from his NYC days. Supported him with time and money that I really couldn't spare since before he announced in Springfield in Feb. 2007. I thought he could change the country and elevate our standing in the world. So much obstinacy and self-destruction on the part of others got in the way but he has shown such incredible strength and grace. And smarts.

The first and probably the only time I'll "get" a President on this deep a level and he turned out to be a great one. I've enjoyed knowing he's in the White House every day of his presidency and I'm old enough to appreciate what that sentiment really means.

He could have accomplished 90% more than he did with the Rethug scourge that's in there now. This is what I feel we've let him down on most.

He says we were his strength during the tough times. Seriously doubt it, but his words are appreciated. It has always been the other way around. We are unworthy of this man's and his wife's strength and grace.

But look where the other side is right now. Barack could have ranted about them but he never impeded their descent by making his own behavior or personal shortcomings the issue. He couldn't have put our party in a better position politically. I think Hillary has a lot to work with; we all do.

And class. And integrity.

It's just too bad he was in office at a time when the Republicans were mercilessly obstructionist. Oh well, he couldn't control that.

Anyway, he recently paid his final presidential visit to Canada and he received a well-deserved standing ovation in Parliament. Obama is revered by most Canadians. His approval rating is improving in the U.S. as people come to appreciate how well he's handled adversity, but he's still running about 20% higher north of the border.

As others have said, he embodies grace, style and class.

It's unimaginable to think of Trump in this role..
