MSNBC just said that more protesters are expected to be in Philly than were in Cleveland

WTF is up with that? I lived through 68 and remember how we in the left ended up electing Nixon by protesting the wrong party. For the love of all what good will come from Protesting our own party?

The far left focuses on the Presidency as if it is a dictatorship.

Huge difference between the types in general ability to form stable, effective organizations. The civil rights movement groups also included moderate conservatives, and that cooperation was possible because of inclusive leadership.

Successful organizations didn't abandon focus to argue that only they were the true civil rights activists and none of the others were.

As for the far right being smarter, yuck. They are more cohesive, easier to manipulate through hate and fear, and most tend to be good, eager followers of authoritarian leaders. No accident the Kochs chose them to be their Tea Party stooges, or Trump to be trumpsters.

All that a protest is going to do is make it even less likely that the 'progressives' are going to get their way moving forward. Keep pissing on people and see how you're treated. Go ahead.

those hot summer nights when troublemakers come out.

Whatever. I think people shouldn't worry. So there's some demonstrating. That's democracy. The authorities in Cleveland handled it very well. People were able to demonstrate and act out there with the police controlling, not inciting violence.

And in the convention we may or may not have some boos when something's voted in or out. We won't have an authoritarian mob united on the desirability of imprisoning opponents to win elections.

Maybe not all paid, but a lot of the are republicans, and many are also Trump idiots. Those who "claim" to be Democrats but are going to protest because they didn't get all they want, are most likely fakes also. Of course those who are going to have their "farting" contest are just plain as losers, no matter who they are.

is going to be Sanders supporters .. how many are true Sander supporters or ones pretending to be Sanders supporters . Just said it a little bit ago but will say again Trump has some dirty tricksters Manafort , Stone here a little bit on Stone

"For nearly forty years, Stone has hovered around Republican and national politics, both near the center and at the periphery. "

"Stone revels in his Watergate pedigree, noting almost apologetically that he was never accused of breaking any law. “The Democrats were weak, we were strong,” he told me. (Stone’s rules: “Attack, attack, attack—never defend” and “Admit nothing, deny everything, launch counterattack.”) "

The place has taken three huge steps backwards into the bad old days of two or three progressive "hosts" and the rest of the lineup being very conservative. How long before Hugh Hewitt gets his prime time show?

Sowing seeds of Democratic discontent is just par for the course now.
