Hillary Clinton plans to announce her running mate “as fast possible because she wants to take away” from the success of the four-day Republican National Convention, GOP nominee Donald Trump said Friday.

.............................

“Hillary’s trying to pick her vice president as fast as possible because she wants to take away a little of the success that we had at this convention,” Trump said Friday, addressing volunteers in Cleveland one day after accepting the Republican Party’s nomination for president. “This convention has been a tremendous success.”

That sun-fried asshat from the desert inflicted Sarah Palin on the world the day after the 2008 Democratic Party Convention...so bite my pole Trumpster Fire, as usual, you are full of shit.

Reminds me of the 70's era Cheech and Chong LP that had a skit with the "Shredder Monster" ("tapes! tapes! I love tapes!&quot and the punchline : "Shit. Shit. Big Dick is full of shit!"

McCain announced Palin during the Democratic convention, which was actually a good political move..........well, except for the fact that it was Palin.

McCain did get a huge bump from announcing Palin when he did. Shortly after August 29th, 2008, for the first time since the GE season kicked off, McCain took the lead in the polls. It was also the last time he would.

Fortunately for us, she then commenced to opening her mouth.. and the polls went down.. so she opened her mouth again.. and the polls went down again.. rinse and repeat.

ahh for the "I can see Russia from my house" days.

Prediction: As this moves on, with a more attentive electorate, his polling will never be this high again.

That is exactly how I remembered it. The look on McCain's face, started out pleased and proud, then gradually turned into an icy grimace as he watched his political ambitions go down the drain. "What the hell have I done?"
