Perfect opportunity for Hillary to choose Admiral James Stavridis as her VP.

Trump just swung and missed with Gov. Pence. Hillary would be wise in this climate of chaos to choose Admiral Stavridis as her VP. I've watched some of his speeches and he's very intelligent and well versed on world affairs.

4. While I am not sure he'll be HRC's VP, he'll probably get a job in her admin.

People who think he's a war hawk are woefully misinformed and should check this out:

I think that such a person might act as a counter to those individuals who might be inclined toward military intervention.

but I like this one the best. Really helps her in Trump-leaning states like North Carolina and Georgia, and counters any national appeal Trump may have based on that stupid wall he's always bragging about and has made the centerpiece of his campaign. Stavridis has been wisely talking bridges not walls in foreign policy for years now and is the perfect alternative for those who desire security without going totally paranoic xenophobe about it, i.e. most of the voting public.

As I said, there's a lot of ways to play this, and I'll support most any of them. But, it seems to me, moreso than any elected official from any state Stavridis helps her nationally across the board red and blue and independent, edging her closer to that landslide that lifts our downticket races as well.

to the voting public. Watch the narrative coming from the campaign. If you hear more and more about stalking ISIS on social media and clamping down on their access to resources and building bridges to the Muslims who are being hostage to the Muslim terrorists.

or totally toss them aside but if I'm forced to make a blind decision then anti it must be.

Smart and competent are mission critical but the wrong ideals combined with them are still no good and potentially more dangerous with power than a boob with the wrong ideals as the potential for more of them to come to fruition is high. Effectiveness cuts both ways, Bush would have done far less harm without the competence of Cheney and Rumsfeld.
