Kaine says he doesn't expect to be Clinton's VP

Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) on Monday said he doesn't expect to be picked as presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton's running mate.

"I was speculated about eight years ago, and it's nice to be speculated about," he said on MSNBC's "MTP Daily."

"In my gut, eight years ago, I didn't think it was going to go that direction, and I got to say, in my gut right now, I kind of feel like I'm going to stay in the Senate."

2. and he said it again yesterday, but when I watched it, I didn't get the impression he was serious

not compared to the last go round. They asked him twice what his wife thinks about his being VP, and he completely avoided the question. And when he compared this time to last time, it didn't ring as all that sincere. That's just my take, for what it is worth.

3. Nothing against the guy...

He just doesn't have that WOW factor like Warren or a Gavin Newsom would have for me.

Wouldn't change my vote of course. ..just think there is better candidates available.

4. The big difference though

is that the Wall St. power brokers would open their wallets for a Kaine pick. Not so much for a Warren or a Newsom. In the end, they will go with a Wall St. money pick.
