Donald Trumps landfill inferno campaign is still in tatters, despite the fact that Team Trump has been trying to professionalize itself in recent weeks.
Politico this week asked several anonymous GOP insiders whether the Clinton campaign or the Trump campaign had a stronger ground game set up for the fall and 92 percent of Republicans thought Clintons presidential campaign was stronger.
Thats not all, however: Several of the GOP insiders who talked to Politico painted a picture of abject panic about just how far behind Trumps campaign is right now.
The embodiment of chaos, said a Pennsylvania Republican.
A bunch of posers who get no respect, said an Ohio Republican.
As small as his hands, said an Iowa Republican of the size of the Trump campaigns presence in Iowa.
There is exactly zero staff, zero campaign offices, and zero official campaign presence for Trump in Colorado, aside from a handful of red hats that individual supporters of the New York real estate developer have bought for themselves online, a Colorado Republican told Politico.
There is no Trump campaign, said a New Hampshire Republican. No field staff, no scheduled [door-knocking] operation, no developed volunteer network.
Given that the Trump campaign is so short on cash, its hard to imagine it will be able to plug resources into building its operations in key swing states.

OP
I don't doubt it. Then he can claim "medical reasons" for an exit from the campaign.

(34,845 posts)5. In the first debate, when confronted about his wretched finances...
...I expect him to pretend not to have heard and fiddle about with papers at the podium until the exasperated moderator moves onto the next question.
Whoever sponsors the debate had best have a medical team on stand-by because I expect him to suffer some sort of emotional collapse.

(15,445 posts)7. It's all good. The toupéd fucktrumpet seems to believe that
just showing up at some rallies and ranting maniacally will suffice.
May he continue in this misguided belief.
