A Florida OFA GOTV person just knocked on my door!

Looking for my husband to make sure he had voted or if not, if he needed a ride to the polls.

He was surprised that my name wasn't on his list. I voted two days before my husband did and my guess is that they were making up walk lists before the results for Friday were in their database.

I thanked him for his work.

GOTV is going to make sure every single Democratic voter is at least reminded to get to the polls!

1. I had one come by yesterday

First time in my 20 years in Florida I was canvassed. The OFA ground game is truly exceptional!

2. This is the first time I was not working an election since GOTV started

I tried to volunteer but I was just not able to.

3. NOVA GOTV is awesome. I came home from work a little while ago

and after getting off the elevator headed to my apartment, saw some notes on peoples doors about voting today. I had just glanced at them. I got to my door and there was nothing on it. I went back to the last door that I had seen a note on, and read it. It was from the Obama GOTV. I live in a secure building, and I'm guessing that since I already voted a few days ago, they were looking for non voters. I'm hopeful that the neighbors on my floor who hadn't voted yet are at the polls now. (I don't know them BTW but I will make it a point to go over and introduce myself after tonight.
