1. That could suck in the libertarians.

Especially libertarians who lean left.

2. That's a good thought

Its ridiculous that its still illegal anywhere while alcohol and cigarettes aren't.

As far as I know Colorado is loving legal weed. Raising tons of money for sure.

4. There are problems, for certain.

But legalized cannabis has caused nowhere near the problems that alcohol does and the major problems are associated with criminal activity targeting the legal cannabis businesses because federal banking regulations force it into being cash only.

6. I think the platform addresses the banking problems

Hope they get turned into laws.

We nesd a huge GOTV to make these things possible.

7. I completely agree.

The privatized prison system will hate it because cannabis prisoners are easier to deal with and rarely ever involve themses in the violence inherent in prison life, but I see putting those assholes out of business as a good thing.

10. Same here and also the fact that these laws

were...are...used to target PoC by and large.

8. I guess this refers to banking problems and such

...as well as reforming our laws to allow legal marijuana businesses to exist without uncertainty.

15. The only federal reform proposed in that plank is to allow banks to do business...

...with businesses in places where it is legal.

Absent re-scheduling, there can be no serious federal marijuana law reform.

But, good to know the money side of it will be looked after.

3. Good. I'd like to see it made available for medical use

immediately. I wonder, assuming we get a more liberal SCOTUS next year, if the way to speed up complete decriminalization might be a 14th. Amendment case.

5. When is it going to be reclassified from a schedule 1 drug?

I thought I read that would give the green light to any state for medical marijuana?

More kids get a record for life over a medicinal harmless plant.

The public is waaay ahead of the politicians on this subject.

14. True.

If pot is fully legalized state by state, it will take years. That's why I'd like to see a 14th. Amendment challenge before a sympathetic Court, on the grounds that black kids are obviously not receiving equal justice under the law.

19. I totally agree with you

Its a massive injustice in the first place that these drug laws are targeted mostly at PoC and to keep for profit prisons full.

But to drag our feet on this issue when its going to be legal in most if not all America in say 5 years or less is even worse!

20. I hope its that soon

Lots of people could get off of dangerous opiate drugs that ruin their lives with addiction and suck up every dime they have to boot if medical MJ was available.

But it needs to be taken off the schedule 1 list to make that much easier, I believe.

21. Absolutely!

CBDs are the wave of the future when it comes to certain pains and the over use of opiates is horrifying.
CBDs are certainly helping my dog.

27. I'm know plenty of humans on CBDs as well.

Back pain, inflammation, joint issues, arthritis, stress, etc.
These are people who don't want to get high, so the lack of THC is a plus.
Myself, I happen to like THC, so...

into a stream of jobs, taxes and revenue that benefit all citizens.

It would take cannabis away from the Bandidos and Zetas, and would be an excellent crop for dry land farming.
