the line was long, largely composed of elderly, disabled and there was only one laptop at the I.D. check station, with only one person checking I.D., another person handing out the early voter registration. There should have been at least three people manning that desk! It is a form of voter suppression to discourage people, but saw none walk away. Instead, they asked people to hold their place in line so they could sit. Think it unconscionable when dealing with the elderly.

when I voted in NOVA, they were really quick verifying IDs. They had poll workers walking up and down the line, telling everyone to have your ID ready, and if possible, it was best to use your voter registration card for easy look up. I spent about 20 seconds at the verification person.

an ID, not a picture ID, and one of the acceptable forms of ID is actually your voter registration card. You can also bring something like an electric bill. It's very easy to do, which is why the DOJ didn't fight it at all.

But the good news is..lots of diversity in the crowd. A lot more than I'm used to seeing here.
