Yes, Eddie Munster, I did vote out of revenge
Revenge against the REPUBLICAN Party. I have two good ears and a functioning brain, and don't need President Obama, or any Democrat, to tell me to vote out of revenge. I was there YEARS ago.
1. As a woman, I don't want the sexist Republicans in control. I don't want to go back to the 1950's, let alone the 1500's.
2. As a Senior, I don't want Republicans to destroy Medicare and Social Security for me, AND the younger generation. Take your vouchers and put them where the sun doesn't shine.
3. As a member of the Middle Class, I don't want the Republicans tax cuts for BILLIONAIRES on the back of the Middle Class. Republicans and their policies are out to DESTROY the Middle Class.
4. As a public education special needs TA, I don't want the Republicans destruction of public education so charter, religious, and private schools can make PROFITS off little children. These schools will not TAKE special needs kids, no matter how many vouchers you give them. PROFITS should not be made off children, and especially, special needs ones.
5. As a former non-profit employee for developmentally disabled adults, I don't want the Republicans to cut Medicaid for this population, which is how group homes and day services operate. I don't want to see a return to State Mental Asylums of our previous centuries. I have seen far too many films of what that used to be like.
6. As the mother of a lesbian daughter who is getting married in NY, I don't want the Republicans Amendment to "protect traditional marriage", whatever the hell that is. I don't want discrimination written in my US Constitution.
7. As the future mother-in-law of a Latina, I do not like the Republicans discrimination of ALL minorities.
8. As an Atheist, I do not want the Ryans, Santorums, and all of the other extreme right wing religious Republicans, legislating a Christian Theocracy.
Revenge? That is actually putting it mildly. I am OUTRAGED and as mad as hell with you Republicans.
