REPUBLICAN R's: Reagan, Romney, Ryan, Rush, Rove, Rand, Reince, Rice, Rumsfeld, etc. Did I miss any?

REPUBLICAN R's: Reagan, Romney, Ryan, Rush, Rove, Rand, Reince, Rice, Rumsfeld, etc.

The association between Republicans and the letter “R” seems to have started with the election of Ronald Reagan. Sometimes it's alliterative, as in Religious Right, Recount Refusers, Ralph Reed, Regulation Removers, Reverse Robin Hoods, Ronald Reagan, and now, Romney-Ryan.

Sometimes it's just one name or word, as in party chairman Reince, propaganda chief Rush, fraudulent election trickster Rove, unsuccessful security advisor Rice, illegal voting guide distributor Robertson, war liar Rumsfeld, Satan-worship inspiration Rand, and even moderate Republican R-Nold.

It can be an event, like Rapture; a preferred taxation type - Regressive; or a color on a political map - Red.

Two presidential elections ago I developed a card game called Discarding the Republican Stacked Deck. It consisted of three types of cards and a mini-dumpster. The cards were Republican cards, depicting various bad politicians and pundits; “R” cards containing names and words beginning with the letter “R,” like above; and “Discard” cards, which were the only good cards, as they allowed you to deposit a corresponding Republican card into the mini-dumpster. For example, the Flush Rush card let you dump El Rushblob, Eject an Election Fixer let you unload Jeb Bush or Karl Rove, and Can a Corporate Crook allowed you to dispense with Ken Lay.

It's time to update the game. A lot of the Republicans have already been dumpsterized, in one way or another. Some died, some went to prison, and some have faded from the scene. The “R”s keep on coming, and so do the reasons to discard them. Also, I'm thinking of replacing the mini-dumpster with a truck to haul the rejected cards to a hazardous waste facility.

Did I miss any “R”s?

Rehberg (Denny) MT- Net worth $31 M says he's cash poor- he's struggling like everyone else. He is a Congressional Rep. trying to unseat Sen. John Tester.

Some good ones there. I've been trying to keep it to last names beginning with R and identifiable first names like Rush and Reince, words beginning with R, and phrases with two words starting with R.

Yes, however, I'm trying to stay away from common first names beginning with R unless the last name also begins with R, as in Ronald Reagan and Ralph Reed. Also, Republicans named Richard are often called Dick, for some reason.

It's sort of unfair to include him in the same list as the rest, but he was technically a republican.
