Pictures of massive Obama Rally in VA last night

First off: Sorry, my camera does not do well in low light and the TV lights were pointing right at us. Nevertheless here is what you would have seen had you been there:

A line 2 hours before doors open and 4 hours before anything starts. This is line 1 of 2. The other was longer but more difficult to photograph.

We arrived at 4 pm. Doors opened at 7 pm. We only got seated at 8:30 pm. Seated area was completely filled:

People overflowed onto the grass area behind. (again camera does not do the crowd justice)

Crowd was high energy and very enthusiastic. Considering it was 45 def F.

From Wiki: Jiffy Lube Live (formerly Nissan Pavilion at Stone Ridge or Nissan Pavilion) in Bristow, Virginia, is an outdoor live performance amphitheater in suburban Prince William County, about 35 miles west of Washington, DC. Owned and operated by Live Nation, the amphitheater can seat 25,000: 10,000 in reserved seats and 15,000 on the lawn[1].

I tried to get a ticket for a friend yesterday morning and was told that ALL TICKETS HAD BEEN GIVEN OUT... if they had more we would be contacted. Later on I received a message that even if you had a ticket, admission was not guaranteed.
So, maybe they based that on parking? Or was it based on total (including lawn seating) seating or only the inside seats... I don't know, but it sure does look massive to me!

I hope somebody got my place because it was too cold for my arthritis.
Great pics... THANK YOU!

I went to a PBO rally in Pittsburgh in 2008. And the line was miles long too. It was in the now demolished Mellon Arean.

It was one of the best things I ever did in my life. The feeling was so positive and energetic. He didn't visit this go round. I would go to see Clinton tomorrow but I took of Thursday to help GOTV. And to vote myself.

The second and third photographs especially!

It must have been fun to be part of such a big and, I bet, excited crowd. Thanks for sharing!
