"She had expected to be welcomed to lead the charge against the Republicans in the general election. Her run has become one, of her trying to convince voters that she is not unsuitable for the position."

than waste time on a candidate who has already lost and can only win by convincing superdelegates to go against the will of the people.

The only people whining about it are people who are not interested in a debate, but for a chance to steer her into an ambush where they hope she'll give them gist for more bullshit mountains out of mole hills.

Fact: Bernie says the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over - nothing new anyway
Fact: Bernie never wins these debates. Hillary always wins.
Fact: (my personal favorite) HRC supporters are not "shakin' in our boots!" There's no fear in HRC supporters that Bernie is turning the tables and winning. (Or is it "already won?&quot We live in reality, where she already won, Bernie already lost, and focus will continue to be on the GE. (Not on some has-been who wants his ego stroked)
Fact: There is no Bernie Logic or Bernie Math in reality - superdelegates DO count, and none of them are going to suddenly switch to Bernie (a.k.a. The Loser).

Not just from Sanders, but from any questions about ............. anything. Why so quiet when millions haven't decided on who to vote for yet?

I think many Californians will be wondering about the refusal to debate, and with the Clinton campaign running around California, it will seen odd to have gone back on the agreement to do one.

Sanders is willing to debate why he deserves the votes.

is the same reason she won't debate Colonel Sanders before the California Primary. Neither are relevant to the process.
