They like the Clinton Foundation too, isnt that right?
are they donating to SuperPacs?

This is over the line

You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Mon May 30, 2016, 12:13 PM, and the Jury voted 3-4 to LEAVE IT.

Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: This looks like stalking for a FFR. There's already a hide for the same poster in this subthread, and I don't think this is OTT.
Juror #2 voted to HIDE IT

Juror #4 voted to HIDE IT

Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: I'm a Sanders supporter who agrees this is over DU's line. The OP itself isn't. Sometimes these calls aren't easy but hey that's what juries don't get paid the big bucks to decide.

For ''helping'' humanity .

Well they did get some more bombs, weapons and stuff for their destruction of Yemen from Hillary's state department after they gave Bill the money......... Give money to Bill get favors from Hill.

7. Donations had nothing to do with the arms deal

Saudi Arabia did not even donate to the foundation while Hillary was secretary of state.

Arms deals are extremely complex and go through many entities. They can take as long as seven years. Most of what happens comes under the Pentagon. Its not as if somebody could take a bribe and just approve one.

The Saudi Arms deal was a major initiative of the entire administration. It started under Bush but was expanded under Obama for two major reasons. First, it was expected to produce 50,000 or 75,000 jobs. This was at a time when the 2008 crash left the country with high unemployment and the arms jobs were among the few that could be produced. The administration also wanted to build a barrier to Iran. The Saudi deal was the largest arms sale ever. It was inconceivable that Hillary wouldn't approve it. Tying the approval to donations to a foundation the Clintons got no direct compensation from is far fetched. Its like a whole city being flooded by a hurricane and somebody saying the flood was caused by someone letting their faucet drip.

The falsehood that Hillary's approval was because of Saudi donations to the foundation comes from an International Business Times article that is full of holes.

I'm sure the refuges and dead in Yemen would love to see it. Maybe the terrorist groups the Saudis supported with that other clusterfuck war in Syria.

The Saudis have their own charities they don't give to Bills because they believe it, its because they can get something out it.......... and its not for the good of world.

probably understand that there is much more to US policy than a donation to charity. You have no evidence that there was ever any quid pro quo with the Saudis.

1. When the voting is over the primary is over on DU.

This has gone on long enough. Once the voting is done I have no interest in pretending everyone doesn't already know the outcome.

My opinion is that Donald Trump represents an unprecedented threat to this country, and I have no interest in providing a platform for people to act like a Trump presidency isn't such a big deal. I have permitted it during primary season because many people seem determined to pretend we live in a fantasyland where Republicans don't exist -- but once the primary is over reality sets in and we can no longer afford to ignore our Republican opponent.
