... blacks only support HRC out of "obligation". Apparently they are incapable of assessing candidates and determining who to vote for based on any other criteria.

8. Blacks took a gander at this

Well, here's what you got. What you got is an African-American president, and the African-American community is very, very proud that this country has overcome racism and voted for him for president. And that's kind of natural. You've got a situation where the Republican Party has been strongly anti-immigration, and you've got a Hispanic community which is looking to the Democrats for help.

But that's not important.
You should not be basing your politics based on your color. What you should be basing your politics on is, how is your family doing? ... In the last election, in state after state, you had an abysmally low vote for the Democrats among white, working-class people. And I think the reason for that is that the Democrats have not made it clear that they are prepared to stand with the working-class people of this country, take on the big money interests. I think the key issue that we have to focus on, and I know people are uncomfortable about talking about it, is the role of the billionaire class in American society.

http://www.npr.org/sections/itsallpolitics/2014/11/19/365024592/sen-bernie-sanders-on-how-democrats-lost-white-voters

and that message came in loud and clear.

25. Democrats are not prepared to stand with

working class people? Are there no black working class people? Since when?

Stop whitesplainin'.

And I don't see anyone uncomfortable talking about the billionaire class. For example, the Koch name has become a household word.

I get tired of seeing that POC, women, Hispanics, or anyone who does not support Bernie are somehow uninformed or stupid. Your own classlessness and ignorance is showing when you explain us to us.

9. That Bernie has the better civil rights record is hard to refute.

This preference for Hillary on the part of so many black voters remains inexplicable to me.

My assumption has been that as a group, AA voters are not necessarily as left-leaning as white Democrats, the assumption being that less-liberal whites end up in the GOP, but that all but the most conservative blacks feel unwelcome there (a reasonable POV...). But I have no way to test that assumption: my black friends* are all quite progressive, even radical...every one is a Bernie supporter (Portland selection bias going on here, I suspect).

* well...those I consider close enough friends to talk politics with IRL...and that's definitely not something I do with just any friend.

when it comes to African Americans. In other words, I am not surprised it's inexplicable to you.

12. How is that an obligation for Black people?

Assuming that "her turn" is even a thing, which I do not, why do minorities get singled out for these lectures on their motives for voting?

23. Minorities constitute a voting block, a constituency. That's why.

No one is "singling them out". On the contrary there are a diverse number of
distinct voting blocks (soccer moms. the elderly, Millennials, et. al.) Why to you
feel it should be forbidden to discuss racial minorities as a voting block as well?

29. Keep the condescension coming

You didn't learn a damn thing from losing black people 80-20.

Btw, I was going to be one of the 20 up until like a week before my primary but the condescension, arrogance, and inability to acknowledge that there is a reality outside your propaganda lost me. I hope Al Giordano somehow beats Bernie in 2018 so we have a real revolutionary in the Senate and not The Wannabe.
