It is amazing to me that the "greatest" democracy in the world still hasn't learned how to run a fair and honest (and transparent) election.

As they lose confidence they hope that it is true that someone on their side will fix the results in their favor. Meanwhile they don't want the rumors about right-wing tampering to lead to better scrutiny. Better to try to make it all seem unwieldy and silly. Also, if they lose it won't be because they were wrong but because the bad guys stole it.

So tell me again why they don't want to let the UN in?

Come to think of it - why don't we suggest they contact the UN observers and bring them in themselves?

...making it more plausible when their guy wins because of election fraud.*

Like, we thought your guy was going to win because you were flipping the votes! Imagine how surprised and delighted to find out the opposite. It was 'God's will!'

________
*I'm not saying their guy is going to win. I'm just laying out what their election fraud strategy might be.

We need to stay vigilant...

How is this Obama's fault. Are you people really that stupid? The Ohio machines are owned by republican operatives, of which Tag Romney has some financial ties too. So take it up with them... read it hear before you start making crap up...

It is true that H.I.G. Capital's co-founder, Anthony Tamer, and several of H.I.G.'s managing directors once worked at Bain & Company (whose CEO was Mitt Romney); that Anthony Tamer and his wife are donors to the Romney campaign; and that H.I.G. Capital is the sixth-largest financial http://www.opensecrets.org/pres12/jfc_detail.php?name=All+ROMNEY+Cmtes&id=N00000286 contributor to Romney fundraising committees; and it is true that Tagg Romney's firm, Solamere, has investments in other H.I.G. funds that are run by partners who are former Romney colleagues and current Romney fundraisers, and those partners also manage the fund invested in Hart Intercivic. That close a connection between the Romney family, Romney campaign contributors, and a provider of voting systems may raise some eyebrows, but it doesn't establish any direct ownership link between Tagg Romney and a provider of voting systems.

But I know how "conservatives" are with facts, like Frankenstein to Fire.
