IMO, no candidate from both parties addressed the real problem. Technology.

Productivity will not create enough jobs for the world population. It's not banks, 1% vs 99%, or where anyone takes a wiz.

The problem is how do you get 7 billion people to feel useful and wanted.

The perfect envirnoment for another totalwar, WWIII will be the last.

live person, not a robot. They want to especially blame Bill and Hillary and the environmentalists and the "free traders" I posted several times about what actually happened to many jobs BEFORE NAFTA and since but folks will not accept anything that goes against what and who they want to hate for whatever the reason. Pre-conceived notions must be protected at all costs.

And yes, you are correct, neither party as addressed issue. I think Bill Clinton tried to in one of his stumps but was roundly booed. If given the chance, he would be able to explain it like many are unable to do. He was good at explaining stuff. I think the world is waiting with great anticipation for the WWIII conflict to take folks minds off what is really happening. It is a callous thought but look at what Russia is doing in the face of their worsening economic situation...China too. They must turn their citizens anger toward and enemy to make them feel useful and wanted. Really sad. We could use all that anger and frustration to build homes, clean water systems, and safe dwelling area all over the world ...A world wide jobs program!! Yeah.....
