2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumWSJ: Clinton Charity Aided Clinton Friends
A $2 million commitment arranged by the nonprofit Clinton Global Initiative in 2010 went to a [Energy Pioneer Solutions , a] for-profit company part-owned by friends of the Clintons......
The fit, blond mother of three, who lives just minutes from Bill and Hillary Clintons home in Chappaqua, Westchester, is the daughter of Joel Tauber, a millionaire donor to the Democratic Party.
More to the point: Other Clinton friends including former Democratic congressional candidate Scott Kleeb, Democratic National Committee Treasurer Andrew Tobias and Mark Weiner share ownership of Energy Pioneer Solutions.
Putting the most benign interpretation on this arrangement, it looks remarkably cozy. Do they all summer at the Vineyard

(1,473 posts)1. First let me say pffft hahaha about using Murdoch's WSJ rag.
Secondly,
"The fit, blond mother of three, who lives just minutes from Bill and Hillary Clintons home in Chappaqua, Westchester, is the daughter of Joel Tauber, a millionaire donor to the Democratic Party.
This sounds just like Obama's "friendship " with Ayers.
The desperation reeks!

Rupert Murdoch, Hillary Clinton and the Politics of 2016
Some folks may be surprised by an interview in which Rupert Murdoch declares: "I could live with Hillary as president."

The comments by the chairman of News Corp. and 21st Century Fox, published yesterday, won't shock those who closely follow New York politics.
Clinton has worked hard to take the edge off her reputation as a card-carrying liberal. She has has collaborated with congressional conservatives on some peices of legislation, called for a "common ground" on abortion and cut a political figure some on the left see as decidedly un-liberal.
