Voted early today in GA (Gwinnett County)!

Took about 2 hours, I estimate there were 300 in line before me prior to the polls opening at 9 a.m. The crowd was easily 75% African American in traditionally one of the reddest counties in the state. Georgia is turning blue, people.

As I told another Georgian a while back, even if Romney wins your EVs your vote against Romney--and especially downticket Republicans on the ballot--is at the very least a vote of protest and a portent of sweeping political change there.

Scare 'em good enough, and there won't be any room for Tea Partiers in subsequent elections.

I voted yesterday in Gwinnett at Lucky Shoals Recreation Center. Took over an hour. Great crowd. Mostly African Americans and Hispanic voters. As I stated in an earlier post, a poll worker told me it took 4-5 hours to vote here on Saturday. Georgia turning blue would be a dream come true.

It would take hell freezing over and pigs flying to change GA blue.
But, I'd love to see hell freeze over little flying piggies...but not directly overhead!

When I saw on TV the long lines at all the polling places, I quickly applied for an absentee ballot.

It would take a miracle, but if Georgia flipped, that would be at least one nail in the coffin of the "Solid South".

Maybe we can get the party to put some money in there at the last minute...make Mitt fight for one of HIS supposedly safe states like Mitt's trying to do to us in MI., PA. and MN.
